Supervisors approve new access to public meetings
Webster County Supervisors approved a new policy Tuesday to record and publish video and audio of all supervisors meetings online.
All meetings will be promptly uploaded to the Webster County website at webstercountyia.org and to the “Webster County, IA” Facebook page.
Starting this week, supervisors began to convene partially through video conferencing service Zoom. Two weeks ago, supervisors amended the frequency of meetings from weekly to biweekly due to coronavirus.
Visitors to the locked county courthouse must be escorted in and out of the building, per new policy. Visitors must make appointments with the appropriate department to use in-person services.
