Wright Co. declares state of emergency
CLARION — The Wright County Board of Supervisors has declared a state of emergency in response to the threat of COVID-19.
The declaration will enable the county government to spend emergency funds, invoke mutual aid agreements and apply to the state government for assistance.
“The potential effect of an outbreak of COVID-19 in Wright County is tremendous, although we do not have any positive cases in Wright County at this time,” said Mickey Cooper, president of the county’s Board of Health.
