Election Night soup supper in Whittemore
WHITTEMORE — The Friends of the Whittemore Library will hold an Election Night soup supper at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Michael’s Parish Center, 613 Third St., Whittemore. The event will last until 7 p.m. or until the soup runs out. The menu includes homemade vegetable beef soup, chicken noodle soup, homemade bread, an assortment of pies, bars and desserts. Freewill donations will be accepted. Thrivent for Lutherans will provide supplemental funds. All funds raised will go toward the purchase of an AWE AfterSchool Edge Literacy Station.
