Full Moon Hike set for Thursday at Camp WaNoKi
Webster and Hamilton County Conservation Boards are holding a Fireside Chat at Camp WaNoKi at 8 p.m. Thursday. Park in the parking lot north of the new lodge and meet at the large stone campfire site a short walk south of the lodge.
Bring the family and friends for a night hike to learn about the night sky. Enjoy a snack cooked over a campfire and take a hike in the woods to the open prairie for a better view of the sky.
Bring a bag chair and comfy hiking shoes. Large limestone stones surround the fire ring for sitting as well. Visit www.mycountyparks.com for more information. The event is free and open to the public.
