Webster County Courthouse, FD Public Library closed today
The Webster County Courthouse amd the Fort Dodge Public Library will be closed today due to exremely cold weather.
County Supervisor Mark Campbell said this is for the safety of employees and their families, as well as the public.
“We want everybody to use caution and common sense,” Campbell said.
Some county employees will have to be out in spite of wind chills dipping into the -50 degree range, of course — snowplow operators and sheriff’s deputies.
