Webster City garage damaged in fire
WEBSTER CITY — A garage was damaged during a Friday afternoon fire in Webster City.
The blaze at 1136 Water St. was reported at 12:14 p.m. No one was injured.
Firefighters were dispatched to a possible structure fire and when they arrived, they found a detached garage on fire, according to Fire Department reports. Firefighters pulled a hoseline, entered the garage and put out the fire.
The fire was under control in a matter of minutes, the department reported.
The structure and its contents sustained minor damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
