911 lines interrupted in Calhoun County
ROCKWELL CITY – A malfunction interfered with 911 calls in Calhoun County Monday.
The 911 lines to the county’s communication center for the 297 exchange went down temporarily on Monday.
The lines were down for an hour and 45 minutes, according to Calhoun County Sheriff William Davis.
Citizens were asked to call the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office for emergencies until the issue was resolved.
The issue stemmed from a bad repeater, according to Davis.
Mediacom was able to get the lines up and running during the afternoon on Monday.
