Council to address property matters

The Fort Dodge City Council will handle some real estate matters when it meets Monday.

However, nothing related to the Oleson Park Zoo is on the agenda. Some councilmembers had said previously that they wanted to have a workshop to discuss recent action by the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission that would remove the exotic animals from the site.

The council meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 819 First Ave. S. During that session, the council is scheduled to buy some land needed for road and sanitary sewer projects.

It is also scheduled to act on the final plans for a development at Kenyon Road and U.S. Highway 169 called Triton Plaza.
