MANSON — Pumpkin Fest is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and 1 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY at Twin Lakes Bible Camp, 7718 Twin Lakes Road, Manson. A wristband is $7 and zipline rides are $5.

LAKE CITY — Lake City Union Church Women will hold an Ice Cream Social from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches and homemade pie and ice cream for a freewill donation. Carryouts will be available.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Community Orchard Apple Fest is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at the orchard, 2237 160th St. There will be live music from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and the petting zoo will be open on Sunday only. Farm combo tickets are $28, Back 40 admission only is $15, Corn Maze admission is $10, Pumpkin from The Pumpkin Patch is $8 and the Petting Zoo on Sunday is $2. FORT DODGE — St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Grace Lutheran Church will hold a Pet Blessing at 2 p.m. SUNDAY in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church parking lot, 1007 First Ave. S. Bring your leashed or caged pet to be blessed and a lawn chair for yourself. There will be a freewill offering taken with all donations going to Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa. The blessing will be held outside. In the event of rain, the event will be held inside Taylor Hall.

FORT DODGE — VFW Post 1856 third annual Walter Porsch Class Open Golf Tournament is SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Country Club, 370 Country Club Drive. Sign-in is 10 a.m. with tee time at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $60 per person including cart and green fees. Proceeds go to support the VFW Post 1856 veterans relief fund.

FORT DODGE — Cruise to the Woods begins 8 a.m. SUNDAY at Lizard Creek Ranch, 1762 Johnson Ave. There will be food concessions, indoor and outdoor craft show and DJ. The cruise will leave Stratford at 10:30 a.m. See WC Cruisers Facebook change for route updates.

FORT DODGE — St. Edmond Catholic School’s Respect for Life student group will sponsor the annual Life Chain from noon to 1 p.m. on SUNDAY. The group will meet and begin with a prayer in the east parking lot at 400 S. 13th St. Everyone is welcome to participate.
