SAC CITY — A woman has died following a one-vehicle crash in Sac County.

According to Sac County Sheriff Jonathan Meyer, Samantha Ann Nissen, 27, was found deceased at the scene of an accident around the intersection of Sac County Road M68 and 340th Street.

According to Meyer, the Sac County Sheriff’s Office and Lake View Police Department were called to an accident Thursday evening around 10:49 p.m. Upon arrival they found that a 2018 white Chevy Equinox had left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck a tree.

The crash remains under investigation.
