Overdose awareness event on Thursday
Community and Family Resources is holding overdose awareness events on Thursday. General overdose education and Naloxone distribution training will be held from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Fort Dodge CFR, 211 Ave. M West. Everyone is invited to this event.
An event to honor all the lives lost in central Iowa to overdose is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the City Square, 424 Central Ave. Those attending are encouraged to bring a photo for a display to recognize those impacted by overdose. The event is free to the public. Bring your own chair. Food will be available for purchase.
