One person was injured in this two-car collision at First Avenue South and 27th Street Thursday afternoon. The crash, involving two Toyotas, happened at about 2:40 p.m. The driver of the car on the left was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center. The brown substance on the road is absorbent material being used to clean up a large amount of radiator fluid and oil. The crash remained under investigation by Fort Dodge police late Thursday afternoon. City police and firefighters responded to the scene.
