FONDA — The Fonda Arts Center, Fonda, is hosting “Ball N Chain” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the center. Admission and refreshments are free.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Public Library, Emmetsburg, is holding Gaming After Hours from 2:30 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY. The program is for adult patrons. Light refreshments will be served.

LEHIGH — Lehigh River Days are TODAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Lehigh. Today’s events begin at 4 p.m. with the Cruise to the Riverside Car Show, Lil’ Miss and Mr. Pageant at 5:30 p.m., bags tournament, glow volleyball tournament and glow foam pit. Saturday’s events include Upper Iowa Des Moines Opportunity 5K run at 7 a.m., parade at 10:30 a.m., mud volleyball tournament, foam pit, bingo at the Community Center and Jesse Wilson and Friends performance. Sunday includes a church service at 8 a.m. and Lions Pancake Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St. The Iowa Pork Producers will be grilling pork burgers.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. People attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — The third annual Veterans Appreciation BBQ is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at Terry Moehnke Veterans Memorial Park, 1386 National Ave. The event is for all veterans and their families. There will be free food and fun.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Firefighters Association annual Golf Tournament is 9 a.m. SATURDAY at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course, 1417 Nelson Ave. The cost is $260 per team. First St. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Firefighters Association for fire safety items for children visiting the firehouse, various supplies for the firehouse, physical fitness equipment and providing four scholarships for new high school graduates.
