The residents of a Fort Dodge apartment received a surprise visitor Thursday night when this car turned up on their doorstep. The Chrysler jumped the curb, crossed the sidewalk and went partially up a step, with its front end coming to rest just inches from the front door of 268 Ave. M West. No one was injured in the crash, which was reported at 9:25 p.m. The Fort Dodge police and fire departments responded. The crash remained under investigation by Fort Dodge police.
