EMMETSBURG — Farmer’s Market is 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY on the north side of the Palo Alto County Courthouse on 10th Street, Emmetsburg.

OTHO — Market at the Park is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Otho City Park. There will be vendors, crafters, direct sales, fresh produce and food trucks.

EMMETSBURG — The First United Methodist Church, Emmetsburg, is holdings its 150th anniversary celebrated at 10 a.m. SUNDAY at the church. A luncheon and fellowship will follow the special service.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “Bullitt” will be shown. Admission is free.

LEHIGH — The Lehigh United Methodist Church will be serving a Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY for a freewill offering. The meal is loose meat sandwich, beans, salads, chips, dessert and a drink.

EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Fire Department Pancake Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon SUNDAY at the Fire Hall, Emmetsburg. A freewill donation will be accepted.

ROCKWELL CITY — Immanuel Lutheran Church is holding its annual steak sandwich supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the church, five miles east of Rockwell City. The menu includes a ribeye steak sandwich or hamburger with cheesy potatoes, baked beans, bars and a drink for $13 or two for $25. Children ages 9 and under eat free (hamburger meal). Takeouts will be available by calling 712-297-7708. Funds raised will go to the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League projects.

ALGONA — New York jazz artist, composer and educator Yvonnick Prene and his band will perform at 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Ed and Betty Wilcox Performing Arts Center, Algona. The performance will be followed by a harmonica teaching session. A meet and greet with the band is 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Billie Jo’s Bar and Grill, downtown Algona. A limited number of harmonicas will be provided, or participants may bring their own. To reserve a harmonica, contact the Algona Public Library at 515-295-5476 in advance of the event. Admission is free.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — Webster County Health Department and WIC Iowa are holding a Community Baby Shower from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at Citizen’s Central, 617 Central Ave. This free event is for expectant parents and parents with infants under age one.

FORT DODGE — Hillbilly Sale and Flea Market is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169 S. Gate admission is $2 per person 12 and over. 4-H fundraiser breakfast and lunch each day.
