First responders transported a motorcyclist injured at the intersection of South Eighth Street and Fifth Avenue South Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m. after the rider apparently hit the curb while turning east onto Fifth Avenue South. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The condition of the rider, transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center by ambulance, was not immediately available.
