Law enforcement officers responded to an apparent standoff Monday afternoon at a residence on Apple Avenue in Webster City. The Webster City Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation were on the scene. The situation was still under investigation late Monday night, and no information was available from law enforcement.
