UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge is cautioning people to continue using its current website, not an old one which is available online.
“It was brought to our attention that there is a rogue website branded like our old Iowa Health System website,” said Alyssa Stanek, marketing communications specialist for UnityPoint Health–Fort Dodge. “We wanted to make sure our patients are getting the correct info they need by continuing to use the unitypoint.org site.”
Iowa Health System became UnityPoint Health in 2013.
Visitors can go to unitypoint.org/fortdodge for any information about UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge including Trinity Regional Medical Center, BerryHill Center and UnityPoint Clinic settings in the area.
The incorrect website appears to display information about UnityPoint Health, but is not being run by the organization.

No patient information is at risk, Stanek said.
“Information Services is working to get the rogue site disabled,” she said. “In the meantime, do not go in search of the alternate website as there is risk your information could fall into the wrong hands.”
Stanek didn’t know specifics of how the other website, which uses pages the hospital has previously used, became available.
