The Iowa Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined a Fort Dodge plumbing company for a 2015 trench collapse in which a man died.

Riley-Armstrong Plumbing & Heating was fined $59,000.

William ”Butch” Patterson, 49, of Otho, died in the Aug. 14, 2015, incident at the Marian Home & Village, 2400 Sixth Ave. N.
