I’ve been an independent financial advisor for 8 years and in the insurance industry for over 13 years now. I have acquired two books of business over the last two years and created the DBA Century Financial & Insurance Services last year.

I am the sole proprietor of the LLC; however, I have an entire team of front and back office staff who help assist me and my clients.

What are you doing differently to serve customers due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Financial advisors are considered essential workers. I am making myself available either by phone, Skype or face-to-face meetings. I am busier than ever during these unprecedented times.

What is the biggest challenge your business has overcome recently?

Market volatility is always a challenge. Discussing the current market climate with clients and assuring them that this time will pass has been somewhat of a challenge; however, this is also a time of opportunity so many clients recognize that as well.

What is the biggest success your business has experienced recently?

Purchasing the two existing books of business in the last two years to help better service existing clients and ensure they are meeting their original objectives.
