James Bailey, who was teaching art at the University of Montana, helps answer a question for Lori Lea Frakes, of Clarion, during a session of a weeklong summer art retreat at Iowa Central Community College. The program was a joint venture between the school and the Blanden Memorial Art Museum. Participating teachers earned continuing education credits at the course. The students were exploring the medium of artist’s books.
