Brian Powell, on Race, above left, takes the mail pouch from Justine Scarlett, riding her horse Rowdy, all of Des Moines, just south of Fort Dodge on U.S. Highway 169 in the annual Pony Express Riders of Iowa Easter Weekend Ride. This leg of the trip took the group to Perry. The ride ended at the Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside near Des Moines. The event raises money for the camp.
