John Ofstethun speaks wIth Lt. Gov. Patty Judge in the basement of his Clarion home. Ofstethun’s basement wall caved in during the previous week’s storms that dropped up to 7 inches of rain in areas of Wright County. He said he had “back-up insurance” which amounts to $2,500, but according to his calculations, The damage was around $20,000. Ofstethun said he lost his water heater, air conditioner, furnace: everything was “shot.”
