To some people, pit bull terriers are loyal and lovable pets. To others, they’re four-legged terrors. A series of complaints about the dogs had captured the attention of the Fort Dodge City Council. Councilwoman Jane Burleson, the committee chairwoman, said the panel wasn’t considering a ban on the dogs. Instead, the city was preparing to review the entire issue of animal complaints.
