Ted Hollinger, owner of the Hydrogen Engine Center in Algona, stands before a “four plus one” Oxx Power generator, made of five 4.9 liter engines that are hydrogen-ready. Hollinger said that the generator is capable of producing 250 kilowatts of electricity, which is enough to power a large department store. The company was preparing to break ground on a new 140,000-square-foot building.
