NEWS: The Jerry Rabiner Memorial Boys’ Ranch received a small utility wagon at a cost of $60, with funds given by Eagles Clubs in the Central Iowa Conference.
SPORTS: Tom Walters, who had posted a 4-1 record since joining the Dodger baseball team in June, would be the team’s pitcher in the state tournament game against Norway.
