2 FDSH seniors honored with Governor’s Award

Aaron Asay and Taylor Hartley, seniors at Fort Dodge Senior High, have been selected for the 2018 Governor’s Scholar Recognition Award.

The program recognizes the two highest academic achieving seniors at FDSH with a certificate of achievement, a certificate of appreciation for them to give their favorite/most influential teacher, and a recognition ceremony. Students attending the ceremony will also receive a picture plaque of themselves with the governor. The recognition ceremony will take place on April 29.

“We are extremely proud of Aaron and Taylor for modeling academic excellence,” said Dr. Kenneth Hayes, FDSH principal.

Asay is the son of Brett and Dawn Asay, and Hartley is the daughter of Bruce and Tracy Hartley.
