Palo Alto County Scholarship awarded
ESTHERVILLE — Iowa Lakes Community College recently announced the 2017-18 recipients of the Palo Alto County Scholarship. The 2017-18 area recipients are Dalton Connelly, Kindra Marges and Jackie Tonderum, all of Emmetsburg.
The Palo Alto County Scholarship was established in 1999 at Iowa Lakes Community College. The Iowa Lakes Foundation, with the help of Iowa Lakes employees and community committee members, hosts an annual scholarship event to raise scholarship funds. Requirements include being a permanent Palo Alto County resident, full-time or part-time enrollment and minimum cumulative GPA. Award amount varies and must be used for tuition, books or fees.
