Farm Credit Services scholarship awarded
ESTHERVILLE — Iowa Lakes Community College recently announced the 2017-18 recipients of the Farm Credit Services of America Scholarships. They are Levi Gardewine, of Rolfe; and Luke Nielsen, of Gilmore City.
Established in 2009, the Farm Credit Services of America Scholarship demonstrates commitment to supporting youth who have chosen a career in agriculture production. Requirements include: that the recipient be enrolled full-time as a sophomore in Agriculture Production Technology, have a minimum cumulative GPA and be a resident of the Emmetsburg office service area. The award is $500 and must be used for tuition only.
