Manson native earns master’s degree

GLENDALE, Arizona — Tiffany McCabe, M.M.S., of Manson, has completed the master of medical science in physician assistant studies degree at the College of Health Sciences of Midwestern University.

McCabe is the daughter of Manson residents James and Teri McCabe. After graduating from Manson Northwest Webster High School in 2006, she earned a B.S. in kinesiology and health from Iowa State University in 2011. While at Midwestern, she served her community as a volunteer for the Team of Physicians for Students as well as the Central Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy. After graduation, McCabe plans to begin her career specializing in geriatric internal medicine in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The physician assistant studies master’s program at Midwestern University provides a rigorous 27-month curriculum that prepares students to practice medicine with physician supervision. A typical PA practice centers on patient care and may include educational, research, and administrative duties.V
