Webster County Public Health (WCPH) reported 141 new cases of COVID-19 in the last week, as nine more people died from the virus in the county. The county’s cumulative case count is now 4,498. With the new cases, WCPH said there were 194 open cases being monitored on Friday. The county has seen 14 deaths in the last 15 days. Local residents will soon have another place to go when they worry they may be getting sick. Starting on Monday, Hy-Vee Pharmacy, 115 S. 29th St., will offer rapid antigen COVID-19 testing with patients receiving same day test results in as little as one to two hours, according to a press release from Hy-Vee Inc.
