Woodley joins Community Health Center

Alexis Woodley has joined the behavioral health team of the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge.
She is a Fort Dodge native who graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Iowa Central Community College. She began her career in the cardiothoracic surgical unit at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She then worked in the intensive care unit at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center. At that time she was also a clinical instructor for Iowa Central Community College’s nursing program.
In 2018, she went into travel nursing, working in Texas, Maryland, the Washington, D.C. area and California. In 2020, she joined Stanford Heath Care in the cardiopulmonary unit.
She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She became a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner in 2025.
