LAKE CITY — Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics announced that it has received the NRC Health Excellence in Patient Experience Award in the critical access hospital category.

This honor recognizes health care organizations that provide exceptional care experiences.

Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics was one of only three facilities recognized in the critical access hospital category.

‘This award is a reflection of our team’s unwavering commitment to compassionate care and human connection,” Linn Block, chief executive officer of Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics, said in a written statement. “Every member of our staff plays a vital role in ensuring patients and their families feel heard, respected, and cared for every time they walk through our doors.”
