Tiffani Menke

Tiffani Menke, a patient care technician in acute care at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center, has received the ROSE Award.

She was nominated by a team member and a patient for her positive attitude, compassion and commitment to going the extra mile.

“Tiffani is incredibly capable and hardworking,” the patient wrote. “She’s funny, kind and she made me feel at ease during the night.”

One of her colleagues wrote “Tiffani is the embodiment of a leader and role model, and she’s an all-around great person to work with. She goes above and beyond expectations – taking patients outside, to the gift shop or giving them the laugh they need during their time in the hospital. Oftentimes we have patients who don’t have family or friends, but Tiffani steps up and shows such compassion and care that patients don’t even want to leave – they just want to stay to be with her.”

The ROSE Award stands for Recognition Of Service Excellence and is presented to patient care technicians who consistently demonstrate excellence through clinical expertise, extraordinary service and compassionate care.
