WEBSTER CITY — Dr. Venkatesh Rudrapatna, an oncology/hematology physician with McFarland Clinic, has joined the Van Diest Medical Center (VDMC) team of visiting specialists.

Rudrapatna received his medical degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, University of Mumbai, in Mumbai, India. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also served as an assistant professor at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Rudrapatna treats a wide variety of diseases and disorders including breast cancer, colon/rectal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, lymphoma, urological and gynecological cancers, cancers of the head and neck, and blood diseases.

Rudrapatna will see patients in the VDMC Specialty Clinic on the fourth Thursday morning of the month. Due to the upcoming holidays, his first clinic at VDMC will be November 20, 2025.
