Ashley Edler, manager of emergency services at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center, has received the DAISY Nurse Leader Award.

She was nominated for the honor by someone who described her as a “mentor, collaborator and steady presence in the everyday work of her team.”

The DAISY Nurse Leader Award was established to honor those who typically don’t have direct patient care as part of their work and who create an environment where compassionate, skillful care thrives.
