Emile Vinson and Spencer Barber

Emile Vinson and Spencer Barber, both of Fort Dodge, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Doug and Angie Vinson and Kyle and Brooke Barber, all of Fort Dodge.

An Aug. 14, 2021, wedding is planned.

Vinson is a 2016 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and a 2020 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is currently a third grade teacher at Butler Elementary in Fort Dodge.

Barber is a 2015 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and a 2019 graduate of Central College, Pella, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He is currently a firefighter with the Fort Dodge Fire Department.
