The bride graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 2007 and graduted from Luther College in 2011 with a degree in biology. She is employed as an East Coast customer representative at VT Industries, Sac City.

The groom graduated from Schaller-Crestland High School in 2009. He is employed as a road maintenance operator for Sac County.
