Mary Baum and Jeremy Pearson, both of Fort Dodge, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Janet Baum, of Ozark, Missouri; LeRoy Baum, of Duncanville, Texas; Bob and Karen Martin and Roger Pearson, all of Fort Dodge.

A June 24 wedding is planned.

Baum is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College and Iowa Wesleyan College with a B.M.E. in music education. She teaches elementary vocal music in Webster City.

Pearson is a graduate of Iowa Central Community College. He is the supervisor of information technology for the Fort Dodge Community School District.
