FORT DODGE

Moose Lodge Easter Egg Hunt is April 20

The men and women of the Fort Dodge Moose Lodge are preparing for its annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, at Dodger Stadium, Fort Dodge.

Registration is 10:45 a.m. until noon. The cost is 50 cents per child and they must be present to register. There will be four age groups: 18 months through three years old, pre-kindergarten through kindergarten, first and second grades, and third and fourth grades. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the event.

Rain date will be April 27, same times and location.

Bickford Easter Egg Hunt is April 13

Bickford Assisted Living is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at 1536 20th Ave. N. The hunt is open to children ages 12 and under. There will be prizes for the children who find specially marked eggs. The Easter Bunny will be there to take pictures.

ALGONA — 10 a.m., April 20, Central Park, children up to 9 years old.

BADGER — 10 a.m., April 20, Knudson Park, newborn to fifth grade.

BANCROFT — 10:30 a.m., April 20, City Park.

CLARE — 9 a.m., Saturday, April 13, Clare Public Library Easter Egg Hunt will be held in the Clare City Park; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Easter Open House at the Clare Public Library.

CLARION — 10 a.m., April 20, Clarion Aquatic Center, newborn to third grade.

DAYTON — 10 a.m., April 20, Caldwell Park. Pre-kindergarten through 4th grade. If it rains it will be held in the elementary school gym.

EAGLE GROVE — 10 a.m., April 20, Hewitt Park, newborn to 2 years old, 3-6 years old, 7-10 years old. Bring your own basket.

FARNHAMVILLE — 11 a.m., April 20, City Park.

GILMORE CITY — 11 a.m., April 20, GCB Elementary, newborn to third grade.

GOLDFIELD — 10 a.m., April 20, Goldfield school, third grade and under.

GOWRIE — Easter Egg Hunt will be 1 to 1:30 p.m., April 20, at Laurel Park. If it’s raining it will be held in the Gowrie Fire Station. The Easter Skate will be 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., at GYC Skate Center.

HARCOURT — 10 a.m., April 20, Community Center.

LAKE CITY — 8:30 a.m., April 20, Opportunity Living. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Easter Bunny photos begin at 8:30 a.m.; outdoor egg hunt is at 9:30 a.m.; Easter Basket Silent Auction bidding ends at 10:30 a.m.. There will also be a quilt raffle.

LAKE VIEW — 9:30 a.m., April 20, Speaker Park.

LIVERMORE — 9:30 a.m., April 20, Easter program at the Livermore Public Library; 10 a.m., the Easter Bunny will lead the kids to the Easter Egg Hunt. Location to be determined.

LOHRVILLE — 1 p.m., April 20, Mohr-Kinney Memorial Trail. In case of rain, it will re-locate at the City Park.

LU VERNE — 1 p.m., April 14, Luverne School.

MANSON — 10 a.m., April 20, Manson Area Community Center (MAC Center).

MOORLAND — April 20, Moorland Fire Station; rides on the firetrucks at noon, Easter Egg hunt at 1 p.m.

OTHO — Noon, April 20, Otho Easter Egg Hunt is in the Otho City Park. The age groups are 4 years old and under, 5 to 8 years old, and 9 to 12 years old. One child in each age group will win a new bicycle. The hunt is sponsored by the Otho Fire Department and Otho Betterment Committee.

POMEROY — 2 p.m., April 13, at the Pomeroy Care Center. If it rains will be held at the school.

SAC CITY — 2 p.m., April 19, at the Park View Care Center.

SOMERS — 10 a.m., April 13, City Park.

STANHOPE — 10 a.m., April 20, City Park. Rain location is the Fire Station.

STRATFORD — Noon, April 20, City Park.

TITONKA — 9 a.m., April 20, Buffalo Creek Center (former school).

WEBSTER CITY — 9:30 to10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 13, meet the Easter Bunny; Easter Egg Hunt, 1 to 4 years old, 10 a.m.; 5-8 years old, 10:20 a.m.

WEST BEND — 10 a.m., April 13, Grotto of the Redemption. There will be an Easter basket raffle afterwards.

WHITTEMORE — 10 to 11 a.m., April 20, Noah’s Park. Immediately following there is a prize giveaway at the American Legion.

WOOLSTOCK — 9:30 a.m., April 20, Community Hall, kids 10 and under.
