Saturday Night Barbershop is the 2019 Harmony Brigade Annual Show featuring guest quartets that are some of the best in the world.

This year the Milwaukee High School quadruplet sensation group Vintage Mix, 2018 International Senior Quartet Champions St. Croix Crossing and 2008 International Quartet Champions OC Times will be part of the program.

The program is April 6 with performances at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium, 800 N. 32nd Street, Fort Dodge.

Vintage Mix is composed of quadruplets who are seniors at Milwaukee High School. In 2018 they traveled to Germany and competed against mixed quartets of all ages and were crowned the 2018 International Mixed Quartet Silver Medalists. This is their second return visit to Fort Dodge.

Traveling from the northwestern Wisconsin area is the St. Croix Crossing Quartet. The group is known for providing a variety of music. At the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Senior Quartet Championships, they were rewarded gold medals for their performance in Costa Mesa, California, in January 2018.

OC Times is based out of Orange County, California, and is the 2008 International Quartet Champions. The music of OC Times is inspired by artists such as Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. The young, energetic group breathes new life into swing standards, country favorites and rock ‘n roll classics. This is the group’s second visit to Fort Dodge.

Harmony Brigade will be singing favorites that include “Moments to Remember,” “Silhouettes,” “It’s a Good Day,” “I Believe in Music,” “Too Old,” which is a parody of the famous Nat King Cole song “Too Young”; and Pete Seeger’s novelty song “Get Up and Go.”

Tickets are available from Harmony Brigade Chorus members, by calling 515-570-3414, or mailing requests to Harmony Brigade, P.O. Box 302, Fort Dodge, IA 50501. You can also pick them up at Hy-Vee in Fort Dodge.

Adult tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Student tickets are $4 and $5 at the door. Children under 8 will be admitted free.
