KYL June teen events announced

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having variety of teen events throughout June. Throughout the summer, Kendall Young Library determines your age group by the grade you will be entering into in Fall 2025. Teen Summer Reading Program — Patrons, sixth to 12th grade, are invited to join in a variety of “Level Up At Your Library” summer programs. LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church will be serving second Sunday supper from 5 to 7 p.m. June 8 for a freewill offering. The menu is loose meat sandwiches, beans, chips, dessert and a drink. Carryouts are available by calling 515-359-2329 after 4 p.m. June 8.

Livermore swimming pool benefit is June 8

LIVERMORE — The Livermore Swimming Pool benefit is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8 at the Livermore Pool Park. Pork patties, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, bars, fruit and lemonade will be served for a free will donation. Stop by and help support the Livermore Pool. Save $5 on summer pool passes purchased at the benefit. Family season pass is $110 regular price; single season pass is $55 regular price. The Livermore Pool will open on June 7 from 1 to 8 p.m.

CHC holding vision clinics

The Community Health Center of Fort Dodge is holding vision clinics on June 19 and 20 in partnership with Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation, DeltaVision, Prevent Blindness Iowa and OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation. The clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days at Bulter Elementary School gymnasium, 945 S. 18th St. A comprehensive vision exam and glasses, if needed, will be at no cost to anyone ages 4 and up (with priority given to adults) who do not have another way to access vision care. Livermore Memorial Day program Monday

LIVERMORE — The Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post No. 415 Annual Memorial Day program will be held at 11 a.m. Monday on Main Street in Livermore, in front of the Humboldt County Freedom Rock and Veterans Memorial Park. The traditional Memorial Day service includes the array of American flags on display at the Humboldt County Freedom Rock.
