WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, children’s department will be having a variety of events in August.

Children’s special events are:

Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., there will be a Family Foam Party at Kendall Young Library, Webster City. This is a free event for the whole family.

Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., there will be a Kids Bake Off at Webster City Market Night. Drop of your baking creation by 5 p.m. at the Kid Zone. There will be three age categories. Items will be voted on by the public. Winners will be announced at 7:20 p.m.

On Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m., meet a Superhero from the Iowa League of Heroes at Webster City Market Night – sponsored by Kendall Young Library.

Cookies, Scoops and Books is from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 8, 15 and 22 in the Kendall Young Library children’s department. Drop in for an afternoon snack as you pick up some books for the weekend. This is a come-and-go event.
