The Fort Dodge Area Symphony presents “Under the Mistletoe” at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium, 800 N. 32nd St. Admission is by season membership or individual concert ticket for $15, available for purchase at the door. Students and children accompanied by an adult are always welcomed free of charge at symphony performances.
Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., will hold adult coloring sessions from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library’s large meeting room. Coloring sheets and coloring utensils will be available. If you are a long-time coloring fan or prefer to use your own supplies, feel free to bring them along and enjoy the company. The Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding holiday extravaganza Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20 at the library. Children may write letters to Santa for the Santa mailbox, do dot coloring and get a goodie bag while supplies last. All month long there will be the guessing jar and searching for Santa.
WEBSTER CITY — The Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for anyone to come to tour the house and view the beautiful home done in Festival of Trees. Get in the mood for Christmas with 17 to 20 trees and other decorations. Freewill donations will be accepted. The event is sponsored by the Webster City Women’s Club. The house is handicap accessible.
The Christmas Market at the Fort Museum Trading Post, 1 Museum Road, is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through Dec. 23.
HARCOURT — The Lost Grove Community Center, 116 Larch St., Harcourt, is hosting the Jamie Aaron Kelley fourth annual Christmas Tour at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13, at the center. This is a family-friendly Christmas show with a huge production screen backdrop to give the audience an immersive experience. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A freewill offering will be accepted for the Lost Grove Community Center preservation fund.
