KYL announces fall programs

Kendall Young Library will offer exciting programs for all ages coming this fall. Fall programming will begin Friday. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library is encouraging patrons to get a new library card or renew throughout the month of August. It is the perfect addition to your back-to-school supplies. Each new card or renewal will receive a free book.

‘Come From Away’ auditions will be held Aug. 25-26

Auditions for this fall’s production of “Come From Away” will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 26 at Phillips Historic Auditorium, 1015 Fifth Ave. N. KYL adult programs scheduled

Kendall Young Library will hold Adult Programs throughout the month of August. Adult DIY — We will explore the art of Flower Arranging from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 31. Tyler Burton from Peacock House Flowers will be sharing some tips and tricks to a beautiful arrangement. Join us for a fun craft time. It is a free event and no sign-up is required. WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold a variety of events in August open to youths of all ages (children under 8 years old must have an adult present). Fall programming begins Aug. 28. Friday Cookies, Scoops, & Books — Drop in at the Children’s Department between 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 28. We will celebrate the first week of school with an afternoon snack as you pick up some books for the weekend. This is a come-and-go event.
