CLARION – The spring dinner planning committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Clarion Depot on South Main St. The committee will plan the menu, price, arrangements, pies for auction and communications. We need your help. If you haven’t done any volunteering for the party, this is a great opportunity.

The county convention was a success There was a full house at the courthouse. The following were elected as delegates to the district and state conventions: Bob EnTin, Nancy Huisinga, and Becky Egland from Clarion, Jenine Casson from Eagle Grove, and Rick Ohge from Belmond. Nancy Duitscher was elected chair, Bob EnTin was elected vice chair and Gary Echelberger from Dows is the Affirmative Action chair for the county.
