Bridge marathon begins in September

The bridge marathon benefiting Trinity Regional Auxiliary will begin in September.

Games will be played on the fourth Monday of each month starting on Sept. 28 and going through May, skipping December. Participants will play 20 hands of bridge at the Kenyon Place dining room at Friendship Haven, starting at 7 p.m.

The cards and pencils will be there and Friendship Haven will provide coffee and water. Participants will turn in their score sheets after they finish playing the 20 hands.

The play-offs will be Wednesday, June 1, at Kenyon Place.

There will be a potluck salad supper with dessert at 6 p.m., followed by the play-offs at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded.

Each player will pay a $15.00 contribution to the Trinity Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.

The co-chairs will collect the money at the first game on Sept. 28. Last year, the bridge marathon players donated $600 to Trinity Regional Auxiliary projects and $250 to Friendship Haven.
