Arts R Alive in Webster City set
WEBSTER CITY – The Arts R Alive in Webster City fifth annual sculpture event is Wednesday and Thursday in West Twin Park, Webster City. The event is free.
On Wednesday, voting for People’s Choice is from 4 to 7 p.m. At 5 p.m. Sister Act Quartet will perform. There is a 6 p.m. artist talk with sculptors.
On Thursday, voting is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. At 5 p.m., Jive for Five Brass Band will perform. At 6 p.m., Kerry Dixon, of Ames Fine Arts, will speak on the importance of art in communities and make comments about each sculpture. Jive for Five will continue to perform after the talk.
