Clarion coin show set for Saturday

CLARION – Clarion’s annual free, spring coin show is Saturday at the Clarion-Goldfield high school, 1111 Willow Drive. Watch for the signs. The hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch, served by the Clarion Boy Scouts, will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be three dozen tables of coins, stamps, tokens, silver, gold, currency and collectibles. Dealers from several states will be present. Dealers will be buying and selling. Free appraisals will be given. Collectors of all ages are welcome. There will be merchandise in all price ranges.

The show is organized and conducted by the members of the 50-year-old Clarion Coin Club, one to the oldest and most active coin clubs in Iowa. For more information, contact Boyd LaRue, club president, at 532-0056.
