Gwenda Naylor

Gwenda Naylor Anderson, of Fort Dodge, celebrated her 70th birthday on Friday.

Her family includes son Roderick and Abbey Naylor, of Fort Dodge, and stepson Tyler Anderson, of Amarillo, Texas. She has two grandsons. Her husband Andrew Anderson passed away in October of 2021.

Gwenda Benson was born on Dec. 5, 1955. She is a graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High, Iowa Central Community College and Buena Vista University. She married Billie Naylor. In 2010, she married Andrew Anderson. She also volunteers for various boards and organizations. She retired from Iowa Works after 32 years. She has worked as a resident companion at Friendship Haven since February of 2020.
